As the holiday season approaches, it’s time to start planning those festive gatherings, parties, and get-togethers. While traditional cocktails are always a hit, why not add a touch of winter wonder to your celebrations with a Winter White Cosmo?

This delightful twist on the classic Cosmopolitan is visually appealing and delicious. This unique-tasting Winter White Cosmo is made with Vodka and Elderflower Liqueur. The elderflower liqueur adds a floral note, while the white cranberry juice contributes mellow fruitiness without the traditional tartness of red cranberries.

When garnished with fresh cranberries or a sprig of rosemary, this drink is as beautiful as it is delicious.

One of the Winter White Cosmo’s most charming features is its elegant appearance. This cocktail’s pale, frosted appearance makes it a natural fit for holiday-themed parties. The optional garnish of fresh cranberries and rosemary adds festive green and red hues, as well as an enticing aroma that complements the drink’s flavor.

Whether hosting a holiday party, celebrating New Year’s Eve, or simply relaxing at home, this cocktail is a chic and elegant way to toast the winter season.

Tips

Use good quality spirits. The better the ingredients, the better your cocktail will taste. I like to use either Cîroc, Absolut, or Ketel One Vodka for martinis. They are good-quality, mid-priced vodkas.

As with any cocktail, customize the Winter White Cosmo to suit your preferences and those of your guests. Additional triple sec syrup can add sweetness, or more white cranberry juice can be added if the cocktail tastes too strong.

Need a great Cocktail Shaker but don’t know which one to buy? Look no further

Martini or cocktail, a good shake makes all the difference in the world so buying a cocktail shaker can seriously step up your at-home drink game. Think about it: no more settling for boring mixed drinks when you can whip up bar-quality cocktails in your kitchen. It’s not just about the fancy presentation (although that’s a fun bonus) but also about how it makes mixing drinks easier and more fun.

I have at least a dozen shakers, but one favorite. The shaker doesn’t leak; you won’t have to hit the shaker against the sink to get the top off, and the cap will measure from 1/2 to 1.5 ounces with clearly marked labels. Measure the perfect amount every time. And it is dishwasher safe!

Plus, once you get the hang of shaking, you’ll feel like a total pro, impressing your friends and yourself with your newfound bartending skills. So why not add a little shake, shake, shake to your life and upgrade your happy hour?

Chill Your Glass, Elevate Your Sip

For the perfect frosty sip, chilling your martini glasses is a must! Simply tuck your glasses into the freezer for at least 15 minutes before serving. I like to lay mine down in the ice bucket, cushioned with shelf liner fabric so they don’t slip or scratch. When it’s cocktail time, you’ll have beautifully chilled glasses ready to make every sip crisp and refreshing.

How to Make a Winter White Cosmo

For an extra frosty martini, chill your glass in the freezer for about 15 minutes before preparing your cocktail.

Add the Vodka, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, triple sec syrup, and white cranberry juice to a shaker half filled with ice and let the martini sit for a minute.

Shake well for 15 seconds then pour the strained contents of the shaker into a chilled martini glass.

Optional: If desired, garnish your Winter White Cosmo with a few fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary for a festive touch.

Final Sip

The Winter White Cosmo is the perfect winter wonderland-inspired cocktail for holiday parties. Its elegant appearance and delightful flavor make it a fantastic addition to your seasonal drink menu.
