Tis the Season! The Winter White Cosmo. Clearly Christmas. Clearly Delicious
As the holiday season approaches, it’s time to start planning those festive gatherings, parties, and get-togethers. While traditional cocktails are always a hit, why not add a touch of winter wonder to your celebrations with a Winter White Cosmo? This delightful twist on the classic Cosmopolitan is visually appealing and delicious.
This unique-tasting Winter White Cosmo is made with Vodka and Elderflower liqueur. The Elderflower liqueur adds a floral note, while the white cranberry juice contributes mellow fruitiness without the traditional tartness of red cranberries.

When garnished with fresh cranberries or a sprig of rosemary, this drink is as beautiful as it is delicious. Whether hosting a holiday party, celebrating New Year’s Eve, or simply cozying up at home, this cocktail is a chic and elegant way to toast winter.

The Winter White Cosmo Ingredients: A Seasonal Sensation
- Vodka
- St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- Non-alcoholic Triple Sec Syrup
- White Cranberry Juice
- Fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary for garnish (optional)

Tips
With all of the vodkas on the market, I use Stoli, Absolut, Ketel One, or Grey Goose to make a martini. For example, a Dirty Martini has hardly any mixer, so I’ll use Grey Goose, a more expensive but smoother Vodka. Otherwise, the Stoli, Absolut, or Ketel One are perfect for a Winter White Cosmo.
I found this excellent non-alcoholic triple-sec syrup. The 1883 Maison Routin costs more than what you would pay at the grocery store or Walmart, but it’s divine tasting and not too sweet.
As with any cocktail, customize the Winter White Cosmo to suit your and your guests’ preferences. Additional triple-sec syrup will add sweetness, or more white cranberry juice can be added if the cocktail tastes too strong.

Bar Tools
Here are awesome products to help YOU make the most incredible drinks. Impress your family and friends and be the BEST Cocktail Barista in your neighborhood.
Need a great Cocktail Shaker but don’t know which one to buy? Look no further
Martini or cocktail, a good shake makes all the difference in the world so buying a cocktail shaker can seriously step up your at-home drink game. Think about it: no more settling for boring mixed drinks when you can whip up bar-quality cocktails in your kitchen. It’s not just about the fancy presentation (although that’s a fun bonus) but also about how it makes mixing drinks easier and more fun.
I have at least a dozen shakers, but one favorite. The shaker doesn’t leak; you won’t have to hit the shaker against the sink to get the top off, and the cap will measure from 1/2 to 1.5 ounces with clearly marked labels. Measure the perfect amount every time. And it is dishwasher safe!
Plus, once you get the hang of shaking, you’ll feel like a total pro, impressing your friends and yourself with your newfound bartending skills. So why not add a little shake, shake, shake to your life and upgrade your happy hour?
And don’t forget the chilled martini glass. Nothing is worse than a martini in a warm glass. Check out these 2 that I recommend. Joy Jolt set of 6 martini glasses in multi-colors and Crafthouse by Fortessa, set of 4 martini glasses. They are both dishwasher-safe.

Joy Jolt is a short martini glass, great for stacking in the freezer, and the Crafthouse by Fortessa is tall and elegant. Still, finding a safe spot to lay it down in the freezer is harder.
Note: The green martini glasses are not Crafthouse glasses. They are for illustration purposes only
How to make a Winter White Cosmo
For an extra frosty martini, chill your glass in the freezer for about 15 minutes before preparing your cocktail.

Then add the Vodka, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, triple-sec syrup, and white cranberry juice to a shaker half filled with ice and let the martini sit for a minute.
Shake well for 15 seconds and pour the strained contents into a chilled martini glass.
Optional: If desired, garnish your Winter White Cosmo with a few fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary for a festive touch.
Pairing Suggestions
The Winter White Cosmo pairs beautifully with various light appetizers and festive treats. Consider serving it alongside savory hors d’oeuvres like goat cheese crostini or smoked salmon. For dessert, pair it with white chocolate truffles, lemon bars, or cranberry shortbread cookies to complement its fruity and floral notes.

The Winter White Cosmo is the perfect winter wonderland-inspired cocktail for holiday parties. Its elegant appearance and delightful flavor make it a fantastic addition to your seasonal drink menu. So, raise your glass, toast to the season’s joys, and enjoy the crisp, refreshing taste of the Winter White Cosmo with your friends and loved ones.
Cheers to a beautiful and unforgettable holiday season!
