This holiday season, ditch the eggnog and delight with a Snowflake Martini
Advice from a snowflake: Keep your cool and take time to chill. When Christmas preparations get your tinsel in a tangle, stop and make a Snowflake Martini. Then sit back, put your feet up, and enjoy the perfect pairing of Vanilla Vodka and White Chocolate Liqueur. What better advice during the holidays?

Vanilla Vodka and White Chocolate Liqueur make the Snowflake Martini an excellent seasonal drink. This martini is the perfect cocktail for holiday parties and family get-togethers. Some recipes will call for sugar around the rim. The sugar adds an additional sweetness that the drink does not need but looks festive.

The Snowflake Martini is also a romantic cocktail to share with someone special on Valentine’s Day.

Check out these cute Valentine’s Day martini glasses called the ‘French Kiss.’ I love them. These martini glasses are not dishwasher safe, but for that once-a-year holiday, I’m ok washing them by hand.

Ingredients you’ll need to make a Snowflake Martini

- Vanilla Vodka
- White Chocolate Liqueur
Tips
Some reasonably priced great-tasting vodkas are Absolut, Stoli, Veil, and Pinnacle. For this recipe, I used the Borgata White Chocolate liqueur. If you don’t mind spending more, you can go all out and purchase Godiva White Chocolate liqueur, it’s delicious.

You can’t mix a great martini without a great shaker. I have at least a dozen shakers, but this one is my favorite. The shaker doesn’t leak, and the cap will measure from 1/2 to 1.5 ounces. And it is dishwasher safe! You can’t go wrong with this shaker.
And don’t forget the chilled martini glass. Nothing is worse than a martini in a warm glass. Check out these 2 that I recommend for everyday use. Joy Jolt set of 6 martini glasses in multi-colors and Crafthouse by Fortessa, set of 4 martini glasses. They are both dishwasher safe. Joy Jolt is a short martini glass, great for stacking in the freezer, and the Crafthouse by Fortessa is tall and elegant. Still, finding a safe spot to lay it down in the freezer is harder.
I found these beautiful holiday martini glasses, which will be perfect when I entertain this holiday season. They also make an excellent gift for the martini lover on your list! Don’t forget to pick up a set for yourself as well.
