Sweet mango, tangy lime, and smooth tequila come together to create a refreshing cocktail that’s perfect for warm afternoons, backyard parties, or whenever you’re dreaming of a tropical getaway.
One of the best things about this mango margarita recipe is how easy it is to make. With just a handful of simple ingredients and a quick shake, you’ll have a restaurant-worthy cocktail ready in minutes. The natural sweetness of mango helps balance the citrus and tequila, making it a great option for both margarita lovers and anyone new to tequila cocktails.

Grab your cocktail shaker, rim that glass with salt if you like, and get ready to sip on a tropical twist that’s as fun to make as it is to drink.

Mango Margarita Ingredients

- Tequila
- Cointreau
- Mango Nectar
- Lime Juice
Tips
- Use good quality spirits. The better the ingredients, the better your cocktail will taste. I like to use El Padrino for mixed drinks.
- Mango nectar, and not juice, makes this margarita outstanding. The thicker the nectar, the better the cocktail.

Here are awesome products to help YOU make the most incredible drinks. Impress your family and friends and be the BEST Cocktail Barista in your neighborhood.
Need a great Cocktail Shaker but don’t know which one to buy? Look no further
Martini or cocktail, a good shake makes all the difference in the world so buying a cocktail shaker can seriously step up your at-home drink game. Think about it: no more settling for boring mixed drinks when you can whip up bar-quality cocktails in your kitchen. It’s not just about the fancy presentation (although that’s a fun bonus) but also about how it makes mixing drinks easier and more fun.
I have at least a dozen shakers, but one favorite. The shaker doesn’t leak; you won’t have to hit the shaker against the sink to get the top off, and the cap will measure from 1/2 to 1.5 ounces with clearly marked labels. Measure the perfect amount every time. And it is dishwasher safe!
Plus, once you get the hang of shaking, you’ll feel like a total pro, impressing your friends and yourself with your newfound bartending skills. So why not add a little shake, shake, shake to your life and upgrade your happy hour?
The Right Glass Matters
A good highball glass is one of those bar essentials you’ll reach for again and again. It’s perfect for everything from simple mixed drinks to cocktails, and a sturdy, stylish glass just makes every drink feel a little more special.

Squeeze the Day: The Must-Have Citrus Tool
Another handy bar tool is the citrus juicer. It makes measuring citrus juices like limes and lemons, a breeze. Measure the perfect amount every time.

How to Make a Mango Margarita
Half the pleasure of a Mango Margarita lies in its visual appeal. Serve your cocktail with lots of ice and rimmed with salt or TajÃn for added flavor.
How to Rim a Glass with Salt
If you prefer salt on the rim of your glass, rub a piece of lime around the rim and place the glass face down in the salt.
Fill a cocktail shaker half full of ice.
Add the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and mango nectar to the shaker. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds then pour the contents of the shaker into the highball glass.
Garnish with a slice of fresh mango or a wedge of lime—or both!
