Tips

Need to know what champagne to buy? I am not a champagne connoisseur. I’ve tried expensive champagnes like Dom Pérignon, Jouet, and Veuve Clicquot. But I tend to stay under $15 a bottle to create a champagne cocktail. Sweet champagnes are my preference, but until recently, I didn’t know that Brut meant unsweet and Extra Dry sweet. As you can see from the photo, I settled on Korbel Extra Dry.

Prosecco makes an excellent substitution for champagne in cocktails.

Bar Tools

Here are awesome products to help YOU make the most incredible drinks. Impress your family and friends and be the BEST Cocktail Barista in your neighborhood.

You can only have a champagne cocktail with champagne flutes. Well, you can, but it’s just different. If you don’t have any champagne flutes, try these, they are simple yet elegant.

Citrus Juicer
Citrus Juicer

I use this citrus juicer to measure citrus fruit juice like limes and lemons. Measuring using a citrus squeezer is messier than the juicer.

The Perfect Pairing

Pairing the Blueberry Lavender Champagne Cocktail with light appetizers such as goat cheese crostini or smoked salmon with crispy shallots allows the cocktail’s flavors to shine without overpowering the tastebuds.

How to make the Blueberry Lavender Fizz

Start by chilling your champagne and blueberry lavender syrup thoroughly. A well-chilled base will enhance the overall experience of your cocktail.

Pour the Blueberry Lavender syrup and lemon juice into a champagne flute or coupe glass. Top it off with no more than 5 ounces of champagne and stir gently.

Garnish with a slice of lemon and some fresh mint or a few fresh blueberries and a sprig of lavender. I opted for the lemon and mint.

This Champagne cocktail is versatile and suits various occasions. Whether you’re celebrating a special milestone, hosting a brunch, or simply toasting the joys of life, it adds an extra layer of glamour and taste to the festivities.

Note

It would be best if you had champagne flutes that are 8 ounces or less. The larger the champagne flute, the less the recipe will fill your glass. More champagne also changes the taste and color of the cocktail.
