Ingredients that you’ll need to make a Mango Margarita

Mango Margarita
Mango Margarita Ingredients
  1. Tequila
  2. Cointreau
  3. Mango Nectar
  4. Lime Juice

Tips

You can try Patron or El Padrino for an all-around good Tequila, or I use Sauza Silver for a reasonably priced Tequila.

Mango nectar, and not juice, makes this margarita outstanding. The thicker the nectar, the better the cocktail.

If you prefer salt on the rim of your glass, rub a piece of lime around the rim and roll it in the salt before adding ice to your glass.

Bar Tools

Here is an awesome product to help YOU make the most incredible drinks. Impress your family and friends and be the BEST Cocktail Barista in your neighborhood.

Martini or cocktail, a good shake makes all the difference in the world. I have at least a dozen shakers, but one favorite. The shaker doesn’t leak; you won’t have to hit the shaker against the sink to get the top off, and the cap will measure from 1/2 to 1.5 ounces with clearly marked labels. Measure the perfect amount every time. And it is dishwasher safe!

And remember the glasses. This drink is meant to be enjoyed outside in the beautiful summer weather. You don’t want to take glass on the boat or by the pool, so the 20-ounce acrylic glasses (shown below) are perfect for any outdoor occasion. Remember to put a ‘double’ 2 portions of the Mano Margarita in the 20-ounce glass. If you want a single serving, the 15-ounce acrylic glasses in the photo above are a better choice. Remember, add lots of ice!

How to Make a Mango Margarita

Fill a cocktail shaker half full of ice.

Add the Tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and mango nectar to the shaker. Shake for 10 seconds and pour the strained ingredients into an ice-filled glass.

Half the pleasure of a Mango Margarita lies in its visual appeal. Serve your cocktail with lots of ice and rimmed with salt or Tajín for added flavor.

Garnish with a slice of fresh mango or a wedge of lime—or both!
