If you’re looking for a Halloween shot that’s spooky, bright green, and disappears in one sip, this Ghostbuster Shot is ready to save the party. Made with vodka, Midori, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and a splash of non-alcoholic triple sec syrup, it’s sweet, citrusy, and the perfect eerie color for Halloween celebrations.

Whether you’re hosting a haunted house, costume party, or movie marathon, these little green shooters are always a conversation starter. The vibrant color looks like it came straight from a bubbling witch’s cauldron, but the simple ingredients make them surprisingly easy to mix together in just a few minutes.

Ghostbuster Green Halloween Shooter Ingredients

Lucky Leprechaun Shots Ingredients

  • Vodka
  • Midori
  • Non-alcoholic Triple Sec Syrup
  • Lemon Juice, approximately 1/2 lemon
  • Pineapple Juice

Tips

Use good quality spirits. The better the ingredients, the better your cocktail will taste. I like to use either Stoli, Absolut, or Ketel One vodka for shots. They are good-quality, mid-priced vodkas. But if you want to splurge, you can always pick up a bottle of Grey Goose.

I like using fresh lemons in this recipe. However, if using bottled lemon juice, look for 100% juice, such as ReaLemon lemon juice.

Martini or cocktail, a good shake makes all the difference in the world so buying a cocktail shaker can seriously step up your at-home drink game. Think about it: no more settling for boring mixed drinks when you can whip up bar-quality cocktails in your kitchen. It’s not just about the fancy presentation (although that’s a fun bonus) but also about how it makes mixing drinks easier and more fun.

I have at least a dozen shakers, but one favorite. The shaker doesn’t leak; you won’t have to hit the shaker against the sink to get the top off, and the cap will measure from 1/2 to 1.5 ounces with clearly marked labels. Measure the perfect amount every time. And it is dishwasher safe!

Plus, once you get the hang of shaking, you’ll feel like a total pro, impressing your friends and yourself with your newfound bartending skills. So why not add a little shake, shake, shake to your life and upgrade your happy hour?

Hosting a crowd this Halloween? This Ghostbuster Shot is easy to make ahead so you’re not stuck mixing drinks while everyone else is enjoying the party. Simply multiply the ingredients by the number of servings you need and combine everything in a large pitcher or beverage dispenser. Keep the mixture refrigerated until your guests arrive.

You can even set up a self-serve shot station with trays of pre-filled glasses so guests can grab one as they mingle.
