Made with Vodka, Chambord, and fresh lime juice, these Halloween shots for adults are as easy to make as they are to enjoy. The deep hue from the Chambord gives them a wickedly rich color, while the lime adds just the right amount of tang to balance the sweetness. Serve them in spooky shot glasses, and you’ve got a drink that’s equal parts festive and frightful—perfect for toasting under the full moon.

A night of ghouls, ghosts, and goblins for the bravest of souls; drink up your potion, but beware of the black hole. Does an evening of fright sound alright? If not, head to the light……

Ghoulish Goblin Halloween Vodka Shots Ingredients

Halloween Vodka Shots Ingredients
Halloween Vodka Shots Ingredients
  1. Vodka
  2. Chambord Raspberry Liqueur
  3. Lime Juice, approximately 3 limes
  4. Simple Syrup

Tips

Use good quality spirits. The better the ingredients, the better your cocktail will taste. I like to use either Stoli (Stolichnaya), Absolut, or Ketel One vodka for shots. They are good-quality, mid-priced vodkas.

I like using fresh limes in this recipe because the pulp will float to the top, giving the shooters a creepy look. However, if using bottled lime juice, avoid those that are sweetened, as this recipe requires the addition of simple syrup. Look for 100% juice, such as ReaLime Lime Juice.

Need a great Cocktail Shaker but don’t know which one to buy? Look no further

Here are some awesome products to help YOU make the most incredible drinks. Impress your family and friends and be the BEST Cocktail Barista in your neighborhood.

Martini or cocktail, a good shake makes all the difference in the world so buying a cocktail shaker can seriously step up your at-home drink game. Think about it: no more settling for boring mixed drinks when you can whip up bar-quality cocktails in your kitchen. It’s not just about the fancy presentation (although that’s a fun bonus) but also about how it makes mixing drinks easier and more fun.

I have at least a dozen shakers, but one favorite. The shaker doesn’t leak; you won’t have to hit the shaker against the sink to get the top off, and the cap will measure from 1/2 to 1.5 ounces with clearly marked labels. Measure the perfect amount every time. And it is dishwasher safe!

Plus, once you get the hang of shaking, you’ll feel like a total pro, impressing your friends and yourself with your newfound bartending skills. So why not add a little shake, shake, shake to your life and upgrade your happy hour?

Citrus Juicer

Citrus Juicer

I use this citrus juicer for lemons and limes. It’s much easier to measure the juice using the juicer than a citrus squeezer.

Carafe

If you plan to mix a batch or two of these in advance, I found a fantastic 32-oz plastic carafe with a tight seal. You can shake it well without the contents flying around the kitchen. I used this carafe at my last party and am glad I did.

How to Make Halloween Vodka Shots

Line up 4 shot glasses. For an extra spooky touch, consider using Halloween-themed shot glasses.

To make the Halloween Vodka Shots, pour the Vodka, Chambord, lime juice, and simple syrup into a shaker half-filled with ice.

Shake vigorously for 10 seconds, then pour the strained contents of the shaker into 4 shooter glasses.

Beware; combining lime juice and raspberry liqueur hides the kick of the vodka. They will creep over you like a Ghost in the moonlit night.

Now knock them back and let the spookiest holiday of the year begin.

The shooters are sitting on spooky spider webs and can be found here. The creepy white cloth hanging in the background is part of an 8-Pack Halloween Creepy Cloth containing white and black fabric. Both were reasonably priced.

Recipe for 20 Shooters

  • 22 1/2 Ounces Vodka (750 ml Bottle)
  • 11 1/4 Ounces Chambord (375 ml Bottle)
  • 7 1/2 Ounces Lime Juice
  • 7 1/2 Ounces Simple Syrup

You can use bottled lime juice or freshly squeezed limes. If using fresh fruit, you will need approximately 12 limes, each of which usually contains less than 1 ounce of juice. Twelve limes are a lot to squeeze by hand. Get a citrus squeezer and squeeze the juice into a small measuring cup with a spout. It will make it easier to measure and pour the juice.

Add the vodka, Chambord, lime juice, and simple syrup to a large bowl with a spout (at least 64 ounces) and stir until well combined. Pour the mixture into a half-gallon container or between two-quart carafes. Refrigerate until ready for use. The shooters can be made a day in advance and kept chilled.

When ready to serve, shake well and pour the ingredients into your Halloween-themed shot glasses.
