Tips

First, you’ll need Whipped Cream vodka. For flavored vodkas, I like both Veil and Pinnacle; they are both reasonably priced.

I recently discovered Drillaud while browsing in the liquor store. To my surprise, there are at least 2 dozen fruit-flavored Drillaud liqueurs. I can’t help but buy a different flavor every time I stop in the store. They are an excellent brand for fruit-flavored liqueurs.

You can use either lemon from a bottle or freshly squeezed lemon juice. Of course, freshly squeezed lemon juice is best. If you don’t have a lemon squeezer, try this one. The non-slip grip is perfect for squeezing lemons and limes.

Stainless Steel Cocktail Shaker
Stainless Steel Cocktail Shaker

You can’t mix a great martini without a great shaker. I have at least a dozen shakers, but one favorite. The shaker doesn’t leak; you won’t have to hit the shaker against the sink to get the top off, and the cap will measure from 1/2 to 1.5 ounces with clearly marked labels. Measure the perfect amount every time. And it is dishwasher safe!

And remember the chilled martini glass. Nothing is worse than a martini in a warm glass. Check out these 2 that I recommend. Joy Jolt set of 6 martini glasses in multi-colors and Crafthouse by Fortessa, set of 4 martini glasses. They are both dishwasher-safe. Joy Jolt is a short martini glass, great for stacking in the freezer, and the Crafthouse by Fortessa is tall and elegant. Still, finding a safe spot to lay it down in the freezer is harder.

But if ‘bling’ is your style, you can find the bling martini glasses here. They make great holiday gifts for your entertaining friends. Of course, don’t forget to buy a pair for yourself.

How to make the Strawberry Martini

Place your martini glass in the freezer while preparing the cocktail. Nothing is worse than a martini in a warm glass.

Add the Whipped Cream Vodka, Strawberry Liqueur, and lemon juice to a shaker half full of ice and let it sit for 1 minute. Shake for 15 seconds and pour the strained contents of the shaker into the chilled martini glass. For garnish, slice a fresh strawberry and place it on the edge of your martini glass.

The Strawberry Martini is a delightful fusion of vodka and luscious strawberry liqueur, creating a cocktail that’s as visually appealing as it is delicious. With its refreshing taste and vibrant red hue, this drink is perfect for Valentine’s Day or any celebration that calls for a touch of fruity elegance. So, gather your ingredients, shake up this exquisite concoction, and toast to life with every sip of this Strawberry Martini! Cheers!
