Tips

Need to know what champagne to buy? I am not a champagne connoisseur. I’ve tried expensive champagnes like Dom Pérignon, Jouet, and Veuve Clicquot. But I tend to stay under $15 a bottle to create a champagne cocktail. Sweet champagnes are my preference, but until recently, I didn’t know that Brut meant unsweet and Extra Dry sweet. As you can see from the photo, I settled on Korbel Extra Dry.

To achieve the ideal level of sweetness, incorporate a touch of simple syrup. The amount of simple syrup can be adjusted based on taste. The more simple syrup you add, the sweeter the cocktail.

Prosecco makes an excellent substitution for champagne in cocktails.

Bar Tools

Here is an awesome product to help YOU make the most incredible drinks. Impress your family and friends and be the BEST Cocktail Barista in your neighborhood.

You can only have a champagne cocktail with champagne flutes. Well, you can, but it’s just different. If you don’t have any champagne flutes, try these, they are simple yet elegant.

How to make a Champagne and Ginger

Start by chilling your champagne thoroughly. A well-chilled base will enhance the overall experience of your cocktail.

Pour the ginger liqueur and simple syrup into a chilled champagne flute.

Top it off with no more than 5 ounces of champagne and stir gently.

Garnish with a sprig of rosemary, optional.

Pour a glass of this exquisite Champagne and Ginger cocktail and savor the moment. The bubbles of the champagne, combined with the ginger liqueur’s warmth, create a masterpiece that dances on your taste buds.

Note

It would be best if you had champagne flutes that are 8 ounces or less. The larger the champagne flute, the less the recipe will fill your glass. More champagne also changes the taste of the cocktail.
