Broken Spanish – An awe inspiring truly memorable taste! Island flavor with a Spanish twist!
I discovered this Broken Spanish cocktail at Calacas Mexican Cuisine in Nashville, TN. It had a unique ingredient, Falernum and it piqued my curiosity. Falernum is a liqueur produced in Barbados, and has a unique but delicious flavor, making this drink one of my favorites!

This drink is perfect for those summertime get togethers. It is easy to make, very refreshing, and with it’s unique taste everyone will love it! A really nice change of pace to the popular summertime cocktails. If you like these great woven placemats, you can find them here.

And don’t forget the glasses. This drink is meant to be enjoyed outside in the beautiful summer weather. You don’t want to take glass on the boat or by the pool so these 20 ounce acrylic glasses (shown above) are perfect for any out door occasion.
Keep in mind that you can put a ‘double’, 2 portions of the Broken Spanish in the 20 ounce glass. If you are looking for a single serving, the 15 ounce acrylic glasses (shown below) are a better choice. Remember, add lots of ice!
