Michigan Wolverines Jello Shots for your next tailgate party!
How would you like to be the hit of the next tailgate party supporting your NCAA College Football Team with the best tasting Michigan Wolverines Jello Shots ever?! I love Jello Shots because they have great fruit flavors and sparkling colors.
BUT this is football season, and football is played in the fall. I want something that will make me feel warm and fuzzy on those chilly football weekends. What could be better than Jello Shots in your Team colors and flavors like Whipped Cream, Apple Pie, Pumpkin Spice, and more!
Ingredients you’ll need to make these awesome Michigan Wolverines Jello Shots

First, you’ll need whipped cream vodka to make these whipped cream flavored Jello Shots. Add gelatin, sweetened condensed milk, and food coloring in blue and yellow.
These incredible colored Jello Shots don’t use any Jello but are made with gelatin. It gives them a solid color and a bit thicker consistency. And because you are not using Jello, you get to pick the flavor! For flavored vodkas, I like both Veil and Pinnacle; they are both reasonably priced.

To make your Jello Shots, you’ll need Jello Shot cups. Click here to learn the difference between the 2 different styles of Jello Shot cups. I use the squeezable Jello Shot cups above and the flat round Jello Shot cups below.

The second most important item is a large mouth mixing bowl with a spout. The largemouth mixing bowl with a spout makes it easy to pour the liquid into the Jello Shot cups. I have seen ‘tools’ on Amazon that assist you with filling your Jello Shot cups, but the bowl with the spout works well. Of course, you may have a few drips here and there, but not enough for me to invest in a gadget.

How to make Michigan Wolverines Jello Shots
First, place 30 Jello Shot cups on a baking sheet. Pour the Vodka into the spouted mixing bowl and sprinkle the gelatin on the top. Gelatin can be tricky to work with the first time you use it in a recipe. The secret is to ‘slowly’ sprinkle the gelatin on top of the liquid. If you see it clumping up, you are spreading it too quickly.
Let the gelatin mixture sit for 5 minutes. This seems like the most prolonged process in this recipe. If you do have some dry patches, don’t worry. These Jello Shots will taste so good and represent your team well; nobody will care some gelatin didn’t dissolve.

In the meantime, boil the water. Add your blue Gel Food Coloring to the boiling water and stir until combined. Then pour the water and food coloring mixture into the gelatin mixture and stir for 3 minutes. Add the sweetened condensed milk and stir until combined well. Slowly pour the mixture into your Jello Shot cups until they are half full.
Refrigerate for 45 minutes.

This time use the yellow Gel Food Coloring and repeat the process.
Top off the Jello cups with your second color and refrigerate for 2 hours before placing the lids on the cups. These Michigan Wolverines Jello Shots can be made in various fall flavors. For the recipe in this post, I used Whipped Cream Vodka.
