Ingredients you’ll need to make the Charcuterie Board

Pick up between 1/2 and 3/4 pounds of deli meat, 3 packages of assorted cheese, 2 or 3 fresh fruits, and your choice of marinated vegetables like olives, mini pickles, or Giardiniera pickled vegetables. You can use crackers, pita slices, or French bread on the side.

I usually pick up a package of the Boar’s Head Charcuterie meats. The package that I purchased had Salame, Copocollo, and Sopressata. But this is your board, so you choose the meat. For this size board, you can ask the deli to slice 3 different types of meat at a quarter pound each.

Then I head to the cheese section and pick out 3 of my favorite cheeses. I love Brie and Goat Cheese but decided to try something different for my third choice. I picked up a Black Pepper BellaVitano. An excellent choice for the charcuterie board due to the rich, creamy and nutty flavor.

For fruit, I decided on grapes and a Red Pear, which happened to be in season at the time. Of course, remember the olives, pickled vegetables, and crackers.

Roll or fold the deli meats and place them on the board between the cheese. Place the fruit, olives, and crackers on the board.
