Irish Snowstorm Espresso Martini Ingredients

- Irish Cream Salted Caramel
- Butterscotch Schnapps
- Kahlua
- Espresso
- Salted Caramel Syrup and Kosher Salt for Garnish, Optional
Tips
Use good quality spirits. The better the ingredients, the better your cocktail will taste.
When making freshly brewed espresso, I use my Nespresso Vertuo Coffee Machine, which makes a perfect cup every time.
If you can find it, Smucker’s makes a salted caramel topping; otherwise, I use Ghirardelli for rimming the martini glass, even though it is more expensive.

Bar Tools
Here is an awesome product to help YOU make the most incredible drinks. Impress your family and friends and be the BEST Cocktail Barista in your neighborhood.
Need a great Cocktail Shaker but don’t know which one to buy? Look no further
Martini or cocktail, a good shake makes all the difference in the world so buying a cocktail shaker can seriously step up your at-home drink game. Think about it: no more settling for boring mixed drinks when you can whip up bar-quality cocktails in your kitchen. It’s not just about the fancy presentation (although that’s a fun bonus) but also about how it makes mixing drinks easier and more fun.

I have at least a dozen shakers, but one favorite. The shaker doesn’t leak; you won’t have to hit the shaker against the sink to get the top off, and the cap will measure from 1/2 to 1.5 ounces with clearly marked labels. Measure the perfect amount every time. And it is dishwasher safe!
Plus, once you get the hang of shaking, you’ll feel like a total pro, impressing your friends and yourself with your newfound bartending skills. So why not add a little shake, shake, shake to your life and upgrade your happy hour?
The Right Glass Matters

The crystal-cut martini glass provides an unparalleled and elegant drinkware experience. Its clarity, precise lines, and faceted angles define the impeccably crafted Gem Martini Glass. I love the entire collection. Although they state “Hand wash only,” I put mine on my dishwasher’s top rack.
Chill Your Glass, Elevate Your Sip
For the perfect frosty sip, chilling your martini glasses is a must! Simply tuck your glasses into the freezer for at least 15 minutes before serving. I like to lay mine down in the ice bucket, cushioned with shelf liner fabric so they don’t slip or scratch. When it’s cocktail time, you’ll have beautifully chilled glasses ready to make every sip crisp and refreshing.

How to Make the Irish Snowstorm Espresso Martini
For an extra frosty martini, chill your glass in the freezer for about 15 minutes before preparing your cocktail.
Rim the Glass
Start by rimming your martini glass with caramel syrup and kosher salt.
You can do this easily by squeezing the caramel syrup onto a small plate and spreading it across the plate with the back of a spoon.
Add 2 tablespoons of kosher salt to another small plate.
Place the chilled martini glass face down into the caramel syrup and then into the kosher salt to rim the glass.

Make the Irish Snowstorm Espresso Martini
Let your espresso cool slightly.
Pour the Irish Cream Salted Caramel, Butterscotch Schnapps, Kahlua, and freshly brewed espresso into a shaker half full of ice.
Shake vigorously for 10 seconds then pour the strained ingredients into a chilled martini glass rimmed with caramel and kosher salt.

Optional Garnish
Skip the rim and add a playful finish with Whipshots Caramel. Gently top the martini with a swirl of the caramel-infused whipped cream for a sweet, boozy touch that melts beautifully into the drink and adds instant dessert vibes.

Irish Snowstorm Espresso Martinis by the Pitcher: The Ultimate Holiday Party Hack
Serving Irish Snowstorm Espresso Martinis by the pitcher made hosting my holiday party effortless—less time behind the bar, more time celebrating, and a crowd-pleasing cocktail everyone loved. Below is the recipe for pre-made Irish Snowstorm Espresso Martinis:
- 15 Ounces Irish Cream Salted Caramel
- 10 Ounces Butterscotch Schnapps
- 10 Ounces Kahlua
- 10 Ounces Espresso
- Salted Caramel Topping
- Kosher Salt
Depending on the size of your martini glasses, this recipe will make 10-12 martinis.
You can make them 1 day in advance and keep them chilled until ready to serve.
I store my pre-made martinis in a plastic carafe with a leak-proof top. This way, I can lay the carafe down in the refrigerator if necessary or put it in an ice bucket on my bar.
