The Spring Fling is more than just a drink; it’s an experience. The simple syrup adds a touch of sweetness that perfectly balances the lemon juice’s tartness and the Cointreau’s sweetness. The gin provides a robust backbone with its botanical flavors. At the same time, the Campari introduces a bitter edge that rounds out the cocktail beautifully. Spring Fling Ingredients
Spring Fling Ingredients
  1. Gin
  2. Campari (@campari)
  3. Cointreau (@cointreau)
  4. Simple Syrup
  5. Lemon Juice

Slice of Lemon or Dehydrated Orange Slice for Garnish.

Tips

  1. Choose Quality Ingredients: The quality of your gin will significantly affect the final taste. Opt for a premium gin with floral or citrus notes. I’m using Bombay Sapphire Gin (@bombaysapphire), which has a muted citrus nose.
  2. Fresh Lemon Juice: Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor. Bottled juice doesn’t compare.
  3. Adjust the Sweetness: If you prefer a sweeter cocktail, add a little more simple syrup.

Bar Tools you’ll need to make a Spring Fling

Here are awesome products to help YOU make the most incredible drinks. Impress your family and friends and be the BEST Cocktail Barista in your neighborhood.

Need a great Cocktail Shaker but don’t know which one to buy? Look no further.

Martini or cocktail, a good shake makes all the difference in the world so buying a cocktail shaker can seriously step up your at-home drink game. Think about it: no more settling for boring mixed drinks when you can whip up bar-quality cocktails in your kitchen. It’s not just about the fancy presentation (although that’s a fun bonus) but also about how it makes mixing drinks easier and more fun.

I have at least a dozen shakers, but one favorite. The shaker doesn’t leak; you won’t have to hit the shaker against the sink to get the top off, and the cap will measure from 1/2 to 1.5 ounces with clearly marked labels. Measure the perfect amount every time. And it is dishwasher safe!

Plus, once you get the hang of shaking, you’ll feel like a total pro, impressing your friends and yourself with your newfound bartending skills. So why not add a little shake, shake, shake to your life and upgrade your happy hour?

How to Make a Spring Fling

Chill Your Glass: First, chill a coupe glass in the freezer. This will ensure that your cocktail stays cool and refreshing.

Mix the Ingredients: Combine the Gin, fresh lemon juice, Cointreau, Campari, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker half full of ice. Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.

Strain and Serve: Strain the mixture into your chilled coupe glass.

Garnish: Add a slice of lemon or a dehydrated orange slice to garnish. This enhances the visual appeal and adds a subtle aroma that complements the cocktail.
