Cranberry Mules are made with Vodka, Cranberry Juice and Ginger Beer. Delicious!
A couple of weeks ago I was at my neighbor Julie’s house and she let me try a can of cranberry ginger that she bought at Trader Joes. It tasted really great with Vodka! So, I thought to myself, if I didn’t have a Trader Joes near me, how could I recreate this cocktail?
Try this ‘twist’ on an old favorite the Moscow Mule. This lightly sweetened and carbonated beverage made with Cranberry, Ginger Beer (non-alcoholic), Vodka and a squeeze of lime gets dressed up by adding a few cranberries for garnish. It’s all dressed up for the holidays!
For mixed drinks I like to use either Stoli (Stolichnaya), Absolut or Finlandia Vodka. They are good quality, mid-priced vodkas. Half the pleasure of drinking a Cranberry Mule is drinking it in a copper cup with a twist of lime. If you don’t have copper cups, that’s ok, the Cranberry Mule still tastes great and is one of the easiest drinks to make.
