This Is Too Good Not to Share — Spread the Word Now:

Cocktails don’t have to be fancy or fussy—sometimes the best drinks come from mixing a few simple ingredients that just click. That’s exactly what’s happening with this bright, citrusy, herb-kissed creation featuring Citron, Grand Marnier, and rosemary syrup. If you’re into cocktails that feel refreshing, a little unexpected, and totally sip-worthy, you’re going to love this Grand Marnier elixir, La Vie en Rouge.

Get ready: your first sip is bright and citrus-forward, thanks to the Citron. Then the Grand Marnier swoops in with that smooth, orangey sweetness. Finally, the rosemary slips in at the end—a soft herbal note that makes the whole drink feel balanced and a little fancy.

  • Grand Marnier
  • Absolut Citron
  • Rosemary Syrup
  • Lemon Juice
  • Cranberry Juice
  • Rosemary sprig for garnish – Optional

Citron:

This zesty citrus brings all the energy. It’s bold, bright, and instantly refreshing—basically the sunshine of the cocktail.

Grand Marnier:

Think of this as the smooth, elegant friend who elevates every gathering. Its blend of cognac and orange adds warmth, sweetness, and a little luxe moment in every sip.

Rosemary Syrup:

This is where things get interesting. Rosemary adds an earthy, aromatic twist that plays beautifully with the citrus. It’s subtle but memorable—kind of like that scent you can’t place but love anyway.

Tips

Use good quality spirits. The better the ingredients, the better your cocktail will taste.

The color of your drink will change depending on the cranberry juice you buy. The cranberry juice cocktail is redder, while 100% cranberry juice is darker and has fewer calories.

Bar Tools

Here are awesome products to help YOU make the most incredible drinks. Impress your family and friends and be the BEST Cocktail Barista in your neighborhood.

Need a great Cocktail Shaker but don’t know which one to buy? Look no further

Martini or cocktail, a good shake makes all the difference in the world so buying a cocktail shaker can seriously step up your at-home drink game. Think about it: no more settling for boring mixed drinks when you can whip up bar-quality cocktails in your kitchen. It’s not just about the fancy presentation (although that’s a fun bonus) but also about how it makes mixing drinks easier and more fun.

Easy to Read Measuring Cap - Included

I have at least a dozen shakers, but one favorite. The shaker doesn’t leak; you won’t have to hit the shaker against the sink to get the top off, and the cap will measure from 1/2 to 1.5 ounces with clearly marked labels. Measure the perfect amount every time. And it is dishwasher safe!

Plus, once you get the hang of shaking, you’ll feel like a total pro, impressing your friends and yourself with your newfound bartending skills. So why not add a little shake, shake, shake to your life and upgrade your happy hour?

Citrus Juicer

Another handy bar tool is the citrus juicer. Unless you free pour and don’t measure, this citrus juicer makes measuring citrus juices like limes and lemons, a breeze. Measure the perfect amount every time.

The Right Glass Matters

Rocks or ‘tumbler’ glasses are typically used for drinks with less than 5 ounces, drinking liqueurs straight up (no ice) or on the rocks (with ice).

How to Make La Vie en Rouge

Fill a cocktail shaker half full of ice.

Add the Absolut Citron, Grand Marnier, lemon juice, cranberry juice and rosemary syrup.

Shake the mixture vigorously for 15-20 seconds.

Pour the strained ingredients into a rocks glass filled with ice or a chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary or a twist of lemon.
