Warm Up Your Party with These Boozy Hot Chocolate Jello Shots!
While a steaming cup of hot cocoa has been a long-standing winter favorite, we’re here to introduce a delightful twist that will warm your soul and add a little kick to your festivities: Hot Chocolate Jello Shots! These tiny, delicious treats bring together the comforting flavors of hot chocolate with the fun and buzz of a jello shot.
Place 18 - 2 oz Jello Shot cups on a baking sheet.
Add the vodka and simple syrup to a large, spouted mixing bowl.
Slowly sprinkle the gelatin on top of the vodka mixture making sure to sprinkle it evenly across the top.
Let the gelatin absorb the liquid for 7 minutes.
In the meantime, add the water and instant hot chocolate mix to a small saucepan and heat on low, stirring constantly until the hot chocolate dissolves.
Then bring the water and hot chocolate mixture to a simmer.
Pour the water and hot chocolate mixture into the gelatin mixture and stir for 3 minutes.
Slowly pour the mixture into your Jello Shot cups until they are 3/4 full.
Refrigerate 30 minutes and then place 3 mini marshmallows on the top of each Jello Shot cup, or if using the Jet Puffed bits, sprinkle them onto the Jello Shots.
Refrigerate at least 1.5 hours before placing the caps on the Jello Shot cups.
These Hot Chocolate Jell Shots can be made 2 days in advance and kept refrigerated until ready to serve.
