Melon Wrapped with Prosciutto (Easy 10-Minute Appetizer with Parmesan)
Sweet, salty, and effortlessly elegant, melon wrapped with prosciutto is one of those appetizers that never goes out of style. It looks impressive on a platter, but the best part? It comes together in minutes with just a handful of ingredients you can easily find at the grocery store.
Slice the wedges of cantaloupe into about ½-inch thick pieces for easy wrapping.
Depending on the width of the prosciutto, cut it lengthwise into halves or thirds.
Gently wrap one strip of prosciutto around each piece of cantaloupe.
Place each wrapped piece on your serving platter and repeat until all of the melon is wrapped.
Cut the lemon in half and, using a citrus squeezer, squeeze the juice from one half over the prosciutto-wrapped cantaloupe. If you don’t have a squeezer, you can simply squeeze the lemon by hand.
Season with freshly ground pepper to taste.
Finish by scattering the shaved parmesan over the top.
