Instructions
Using a bread knife, cut the top rind off the Brie.
In a small bowl, combine the minced parsley, parmesan, minced sundried tomatoes, garlic paste, and crumbled basil, then add the reserved oil.
Stir until the ingredients are combined.
Place the Brie on the serving platter.
Spread the mixture evenly over the Brie and let it stand for 1 hour before serving.
Serve the Brie with the crackers, crostini, or slices of baguette.
Notes
Warm Baked Brie Appetizer Option
If you prefer a warm, melty version, you can bake the brie at 350°F for about 10 minutes until softened. For easy removal, place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, wax paper, or aluminum foil before heating.
Prepare the brie and topping as per the recipe, but don’t add the parsley
When ready to serve, warm it in the oven as noted above
Sprinkle the parsley on the warm brie just before serving
