Here is an awesome product to help YOU make the most incredible drinks. Impress your family and friends and be the BEST Cocktail Barista in your neighborhood.

I’ve had dozens of shakers, some good, some ok, some really bad. But this shaker hit the mark!

Best Ever Economical Cocktail Shaker

Pros

  • Great price
  • It will hold 3 martinis and ice (24 oz).
  • Easy-on, easy-off top and Cap (no need to bang it on the counter to release the top).
  • Does not leak (do not shake wildly without your hand on the top; that is just asking for trouble).
  • Measuring Cap from 1/2 to 1.5 ounces (perfect measure, perfect cocktail).
  • Stainless Steel.
  • Dishwasher safe (top rack).
  • Easily disassembles.

Cons

  • Single wall shaker (will be cold to the touch). I’m not too fond of the feeling of a cold shaker in my hand, so I wrap mine in a bar towel and shake it away. My drinks get frosty!

Other Bar Tools

Citrus Juicer
Citrus Juicer

When measuring citrus fruit like limes and lemons, I use this citrus juicer. It’s much more difficult to measure using a citrus squeezer than the juicer. I will occasionally use bottled lime juice, but I like using fresh limes in this recipe because the pulp will float to the top, giving the shooters a creepy look.

If you plan to mix a batch or two of these in advance, I found a fantastic 32 oz plastic carafe with a tight seal. With this carafe, you can shake it well without the contents flying around the kitchen. I used this carafe at my last party and am glad I did.

The shooters are sitting on spooky spider webs, part of a 6 Prop Halloween kit that includes lace tablecloths, runners, stretch cobwebs, bat decor, and spiders. The creepy white cloth hanging in the background is part of an 8-Pack Halloween Creepy Cloth containing white and black fabric. Both were reasonably priced. Not sure how to make a large batch? I can help.

Recipe for 20 Shooters

  • 22 1/2 Ounces Vodka (750 ml Bottle)
  • 11 1/4 Ounces Chambord (375 ml Bottle)
  • 7 1/2 Ounces Lime Juice
  • 7 1/2 Ounces Simple Syrup

You can use bottled lime or freshly squeezed limes for the lime juice. If using fresh fruit, you will need approximately 8 limes, 1 ounce of juice per lime. Eight limes are a lot to squeeze by hand. Get a citrus squeezer and squeeze the juice into a bowl with a spout, making it easier to pour and measure.

If using bottled lime juice, avoid the drink mixes containing sugar syrup since this recipe calls for simple syrup. Look for a lime juice that is pure lime juice with no sugar added, for example, Santa Cruz Pure Lime Juice.

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl (at least 64 ounces) and stir. Pour the mixture into a 1/2-gallon container or between 2 – quart carafes. Refrigerate until ready for use. The shooters can be made a day in advance and kept chilled.
