What is the best thing about these Ghoulish Goblin Vodka shooters? They taste great and you can mix them a day in advance and store them in the refrigerator.

Mixing drinks while everyone is enjoying the party….NOT, that is the last thing I want to do on Halloween. Shooters and Jello Shots should be made in advance so the Host or Hostess can enjoy the tricks and treats!

The Ghoulish Goblin Shooters are made with vodka, Chambord, lime juice, and simple syrup. Combing the lime and raspberry hides the kick of the vodka. Beware, they will creep over you like a Ghost in the moonlight night.

Need a great Cocktail Shaker but don’t know which one to buy? Look no further.

Most likely, I’ve been mixing cocktails since before you were born. I’ve had dozens of shakers, some good, some ok, some really bad. But these two shakers are the best! To read more about them click here.

Best Ever Economical Cocktail Shaker

Pros

  • Great price
  • It will hold 3 martinis and ice (24 oz).
  • Easy on top and cap. The top slides into the base and has a rubber seal. There is rubber on the neck of the top to hold the cap in place.
  • Does not leak.
  • Measuring Cap.
  • Stainless Steel.
  • Dishwasher safe (top rack).
  • Easily disassembles.

Cons

  • Single wall shaker (cold to the touch).

Best Ever Deluxe Cocktail Shaker

Pros

  • It will hold 3 martinis and ice (20 oz).
  • Screw on cap and top.
  • Shake with one hand (the lid will not pop off).
  • Does not leak. There is a rubber gasket on the cap and top.
  • Measuring Cap.
  • Double-walled (not cold to the touch).
  • Stainless Steel.
  • Dishwasher Safe (top rack), but I hand wash mine due to the price.

Cons

  • The top diameter is 10.5 inches (if you have arthritis in your hands, this may not be for you).
  • Don’t over-tighten; it’s not necessary.
Citrus Juicer
Citrus Juicer

When measuring citrus fruit like limes and lemons, I use this citrus juicer. It’s much more difficult to measure using a citrus squeezer than the juicer. I will occasionally use bottled lime juice, but I like using fresh limes in this recipe because the pulp will float to the top, giving the shooters a creepy look.

If you plan to mix a batch or two of these in advance, I found a fantastic 32 oz plastic carafe with a tight seal, so the carafe can be shaken without the contents flying all over before you serve. I used them at my last party, and they worked out great.

To make the Ghoulish Goblin Vodka Shooters pour the vodka, Chambord, lime juice, and simple syrup into a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds and pour the contents of the shaker into shooter glasses.

Knock them back and let the spookiest holiday of the year begin.

The shooters are sitting on spooky spider webs, part of a 6 Prop Halloween kit that includes lace tablecloths, runners, stretch cobwebs, bat decor, and spiders. The creepy white cloth hanging in the background is part of an 8-Pack Halloween Creepy Cloth containing white and black fabric. Both were reasonably priced.
